  • Walk This Walk is a brief takeover of the city where a banded network of believers unify and represent collectively in the cause of Faith awareness. This is a 5k Walk/Run stampede through the streets of Downtown Dallas chased immediately after by an incredibly amazing outdoor Music Festival!

Join us as we walk in unity to collectively magnify our Faith and Witness. We aim to bring awareness by, thru, and in our city and lead an ever-growing WTW community in future years ahead. The event will raise and contribute essential funds to The Lost Prevention non-profit & Homeless ID Recovery Charity.

*Our Cause-Connection

To Get An ID, You Need An ID... To get an ID card, most states require multiple proofs of identity or permanent residence, such as utility bills, Social Security cards or birth certificates. Some states require proof of homelessness, such as a letter from a social services agency.

Most states charge a fee to get an identification card — not to mention fees of as much as $50 for a copy of a birth certificate. But even with waived fees, getting an ID can be an arduous process entailing multiple visits to a state office.

The problem is {homeless people} are being turned around so many times. They need this document or that document, and they despairingly give up. That’s what we don’t want to have happen.

When they give up on having an ID, they give up on the resources available to them. According to a survey by the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, in a given month in 2016, 55 percent of homeless people without photo ID were denied access to shelters or housing services, 57 percent were denied food stamps, and 48 percent were denied access to Medicaid or other medical services.

Our mission is to empower homeless individuals and families to end their homelessness and rebuild their lives by providing the critical first step of identification recovery.

Our vision is to eliminate barriers to obtaining identification documents across America and we believe that a person’s failure of having a license or ID should not be what stops them from ending their homelessness.

25% of profits are assigned to Homeless Recovery ID charity. Awareness is the greatest agent for change.
